Camerata Pelsonore

Camerata Pelsonore was founded by violinist Mikola Roman in 2013. The cooperation among the orchestra members traces back twenty years which has led to a youthful dynamic style through a universal musical language, and it has also become the orchestra’s trademark. The group’s repertoire spans from French, German, and Italian Baroque to Romantic, 20th Century music, and contemporary music. The orchestra tours in Hungary and internationally as well. It has close links with various significant concert halls, such as the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, the Danube Palace, in Budapest, the Festetics Palace, in Keszthely, and several other venues in the Balaton Uplands. The ensemble maintains a strong artistic relationship with soloist Kristóf Baráti, has performed with Gyula Stuller and conductor Péter Dobszay. In 2020, the ensemble received an invitation to perform at Kaposfest, in Kaposvár. In 2022, the orchestra had a prosperous concert at the “Musiques en été” festival in Geneva, Switzerland at the Ella Fitzgerald venue. The Camerata Pelsonore Chamber Orchestra’s mission is to embrace the Hungarian chamber orchestra’s tradition and provide engaging performances for all audiences.
